The Budget Runabout
For visitors who need wheels but don’t need a status statement — or UAE residents whose own car is in the shop — the Toyota Yaris is the rental that disappears into the background. At AED 89/day with unlimited mileage on weekly+, it’s significantly cheaper than equivalent ride-hailing for any 3+ day stay.
Our fleet is current-generation (2023-2024 models, mostly the hatchback). All are automatic, all are 5-seater, all have air conditioning that actually works in UAE summer (sounds obvious, but with budget rentals elsewhere this isn’t a given). We also stock the Yaris Hybrid for renters who want the extra fuel savings.
The Trade-offs
Honest about this: the Yaris is small. The trunk fits 2 carry-ons (or 1 large suitcase + 1 carry-on, comfortably). Rear legroom is fine for under-6-footers; tall adults will feel cramped on long drives. There’s no leather, no sunroof, no fancy entertainment system. CarPlay is wired (not wireless). What you get is reliable transportation at the lowest cost.
The Setup
Free delivery anywhere in Dubai (Sharjah +AED 30 fee, Abu Dhabi +AED 100 fee but still cheaper than a one-way rental). Minimum age 21. Security deposit AED 800 — the lowest in our fleet. Renters with under 2 years driving experience are welcomed.
Who It’s For
First-time UAE visitors testing whether they want a car at all. Solo travelers. Students. UAE residents on temporary visits between leases. Anyone whose own car is being repaired and needs a 1-2 week placeholder. Budget-conscious families on day trips (it fits 4 adults + child seat fine).
