Bali’s Largest Beachfront Resort
The Mulia is genuinely massive — 526 rooms across 30 acres of beachfront on Nusa Dua’s southern coast. The scale matters because Mulia commits to amenities that smaller hotels can’t sustain: six swimming pools (one is the largest in Bali), three categories of restaurants serving 9 cuisines, a kids’ club with full-time staff, and a spa the size of a small hotel.
This is a resort designed for families and large groups. Solo travelers and couples might prefer The Edge or The Mulia Villas (the higher-end sub-brand), but for families with kids, the standard Mulia Resort is unmatched in Bali.
The Halal Standard
Mulia is one of the few Bali resorts that maintains halal-certified kitchens at multiple restaurants. The breakfast buffet at The Cafe is fully halal. The Indian restaurant (Soleil) is halal-certified. Plant-based and seafood options are available across all venues. The hotel respects Muslim guests’ needs without making it awkward.
Prayer rooms are available in the resort. Staff are familiar with Ramadan timing and can arrange suhoor and iftar service.
For Families
The kids’ club (4-12 years) is included in your stay. Babysitting is available for under-4s. The kids’ pool is supervised. The teen lounge has gaming stations and a separate kids’ menu at every restaurant.
