The Default Family SUV
The Land Cruiser 300 is the most common family vehicle in the UAE — for good reason. It seats 7 with the third row deployed (or 5 + a serious trunk with it folded), it handles desert dunes on weekends, it takes the kids to school in air-conditioned comfort, and it depreciates slowly enough that it’s a sensible long-term ownership.
Our fleet is current 300-series (2022-2024), almost all GX-R trim with the 3.5L V6 twin-turbo petrol. We can source the LC 70-series (the boxy classic) on 48-hour notice for desert specialists, but the 300 is the better all-rounder.
The Desert Capability
The 300 has factory-tuned off-road mode (Mud, Sand, Rock), Crawl Control (low-speed auto-throttle for technical sections), and Multi-Terrain Select. With the Crawl Control engaged in Sand mode, even first-time desert drivers don’t get stuck. We provide tire-pressure adjustment service free on rental (down to 15 PSI for sand driving, back up to 33 PSI on return).
The Cabin
Seven seats in 2-3-2 configuration. Third row has dedicated air vents and USB-C charging — important in UAE summer when the back of an SUV gets hot. Leather throughout, 12.3-inch touchscreen with wireless CarPlay, and dual-zone front + rear climate. The trunk with the third row up is small (270L); folded, it expands to 1,131L (a full UAE weekend’s worth of luggage for 5).
