    4:30 AM pickup for a 60-minute balloon ride at first light. Champagne breakfast on landing. Free afternoon to rest.

    Göreme Open-Air Museum (rock-cut churches). Underground city of Derinkuyu. Pottery workshop in Avanos.

  7. Day 7

    Fly to Istanbul → Drive to Bursa

    Morning flight back to Istanbul. Drive to Bursa (Turkey's first Ottoman capital). Check in to a thermal hotel.

    Bursa Heritage

    Green Mosque, Bursa's silk bazaar, Iskender kebab at the original 1867 shop. Cable car up Mount Uludağ for the views.

    Return to Istanbul & Departure

How is "halal-certified" different from "Muslim-friendly"?

Halal-certified means the establishment holds documented certification from a recognized body (e.g., GIMDES in Turkey). "Muslim-friendly" can mean anything from "no pork on the menu" to "we have a prayer room" — we only use certified properties.

Can we fit jummah prayers into the schedule?

Yes. We adjust the daily schedule to allow Friday prayers at major mosques like the Blue Mosque in Istanbul or Bursa Grand Mosque. Just confirm at booking.

Is the balloon ride safe?

Cappadocia balloon operators are rigorously regulated. Flights only occur in calm weather (otherwise canceled and refunded). We use one of the top three operators with a 25+ year safety record.

What if our flight gets canceled?

Internal Turkey flights occasionally face weather delays in winter. We always include a buffer day in Cappadocia and have backup driving routes. Your itinerary adjusts at no extra cost.

Do we tip the guide?

Guide gratuity is not included but customary. We suggest AED 100–150 per day for the lead guide and AED 50–80 for the driver, in any currency.
